Trailing is great as a hobby, a way to keep your hound mentally challenged, and to earn titles!

If you own a bloodhound and are interested in teaching them basic trailing skills, the American Bloodhound Club has some great pointers to get you started!

For those interested in getting started with participating in trailing trials in order to certify the bloodhound’s ability for trailing, you must participate in an Event Entry Certification Trials (EECT).

If your bloodhound is not AKC registered, that’s ok! You simply complete a Purebred Alternative Listing (PAL)
