Senior Hounds Program
Often our club rescues hounds that are in near perfect health, loving, and would make great additions to your family but are over looked because of their age or maybe they just aren't as pretty. These dogs are past the puppy chewing stages and most are house broken & create trained. Yet these hounds still have tons of energy, playfulness and love to give. These hounds deserve a forever home to live out their days just like the others.

Each one of our available hounds is spayed/neutered, has all their current shots and has been heartworm tested and treated when necessary. Bloodhounds in our program are lovingly fostered in homes so there is no facility to visit to view the hounds. Please talk with your adoption coordinator to determine what dogs are available and which one might be the right fit for your family.

Pricilla is currently being evaluated while gaining some much needed weight and seeing her vet.
Ringo
Ringo is a 122-pound, neutered male born April 22, 2003. He is 3 years old. At this point I would say that he would be the ideal companion dog for a single woman with no other pets. He is totally trustworthy in the house (with the exception of ignoring accessible trash and garbage) but is a sloppy drinker. He seems to be fine with other people and animals in "neutral" territory.
He possibly has some loss of vision in his right eye. He is heartworm, Ehrlichia and Lyme disease negative. Personality-wise he is a great dog; he likes to be petted, but he is not pushy or clingy. When we are outside he acts like a big clumsy puppy, but he takes great care not to bump into me or hit me with a foot. He likes to play fetch and tug.
TEXAS
Dixie - 6 years old
Dixie is a love bug and wants to be loved on for days...... She is good around most dogs, not sure about small animals. Good with older children.
She came from Oklahoma and was bred multiple times. When she came she was HW positive. Now that she went through treatment she is fine and is up to date on shots.
Tips
Tips is a small red female bloodhound. She is about 5-6 yrs old. She is VERY SWEET, LOVEABLE, and Easy going. Good with other dogs doesn't cause a problem. She wants a forever home to call her own.
